THE BUILDING OF AN EDUCATION CENTRE IN TANOP VILLAGE
A Centre that teaches English, health,agricultural and vocational practises, computer literacy, and life skills. All these skills mean improved quality of life, and jobs opportunities . They mean an escape from the cycle of poverty, and the growth of a sustainable standard of living.
Suitable land in the village has been donated , and the land has been filled in readiness for the building to start when funding is available.
FUNDRAISERS TO BUILD THE EDUCATION CENTRE IN TANOP VILLAGE
1. BUY A BRICK. Build a school!
We need to sell 1500 bricks at $10 each to reach our target of $15000 to build the Centre. Purchases over $20 are tax deductible through our partnering with the NGO "Global Development Group" in Brisbane.
The names of those purchasing bricks will be recorded at the Centre (purchaser's option). In this way the villagers will be aware of how many people have been involved in helping them to achieve their goal.

2. A PHOTOGRAPHIC EXHIBITION AND BOOK LAUNCH.
This is titled "FACES OF CAMBODIA".
Venue: "Bon Amici", 191 Margaret St, Toowoomba City.
Duration of Exhibition : 1st to 30th of November
Opening Night: Thursday 6th of November.
Time: 7pm.
Free Entry.
Bricks, prints and books will be on sale.
Auction.
Refreshments available.
